Yorkshire Water Fabrication Framework Success

12th February 2020

We are delighted to announce that our Fabrications department have been awarded Yorkshire Waters (YWS) Permanent Access Fabrication framework.

We have been awarded all 3 lots (small, medium & large) with a value of circa £2m – £3m per year. The framework will run for 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.

Our Fabrications team have been a YWS framework supplier for access metal work since 2012 and were successful in re bidding the framework along with 3 other suppliers. The scope of works will include the supply of goods and services in relation to the design, supply and installation of permanent access fabrications.

We have been commended by YWS on the strength of our submission which included innovative solutions such as the use of our SAFE (Skilled Assembly Factory Environment) Off Site Build approach.

Craig Smith, nmcn General Manager Fabrications, commented; “This is fantastic news for the business and enables us to further develop our long-standing relationship with Yorkshire Water.”
