Two Nottinghamshire companies have joined forces to build a series of residential developments in the East Midlands, with the first project due to commence later this month.
The Building Business unit of Huthwaite-headquartered nmcn (formerly NM Group) has entered a joint venture partnership with developer Earl and Pelham Limited to work on prestigious projects across the region.
Their first development will be at Enderleigh Mews in Nottingham, featuring 10 four-bedroom houses in the picturesque grounds of the house formerly known asEnderleigh.
Andy Churchill, managing director of Earl and Pelham, which has become one of the most trusted property investment firms in the East Midlands since it was established in 2015, said: “This step for us to work alongside North Midland Construction is the best possible start to 2018. The joint venture partnership will bring high quality bespoke developments to Nottingham and the wider area.
“The East Midlands is full of fantastic property opportunities and we’re delighted to have North Midland Construction working alongside us. Their expertise of construction is extensive and they have a very experienced and passionate team to deliver our project.
“We hope that our shared passion and values will bring many benefits to the East Midlands.”
nmcn was founded in 1946 and now operates across the UK and internationally.
Nick Banks, nmcn’s director for the building business unit, said: “As a Nottinghamshire-headquartered company, it was a clear fit for us to invest in this regeneration project, which will see our team lead the construction of this unique residential development. It marks the start of our partnership with the Earl and Pelham team – the first strategic partnership of its kind for our building division.”
The two firms completed the signing of the joint venture partnership on 3 January, with this first project due to commence on 22 January. Earl and Pelham already boasts an impressive portfolio of properties in the Nottingham area and is keen to continue to invest in the local property market.
More details about the development will be released later this month.
