We are delighted to announce that our Asset Security team have been crowned security ‘Installer of the Year’ at the British Security Awards.
The British Security Awards is the national event that recognises the talent and commitment of the industry’s finest.
Organised by the British Security Industry Association, the British Security Awards celebrate the achievements, acts of bravery and innovations made by members of the UK’s security industry.
The Awards were streamed during a live, online ceremony on the BSIA’s YouTube channel, featuring special guests including Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service, Dame Cressida Dick DBE QPM, CEO of the Security Industry Authority, Ian Todd, CEO of The Security Institute, Rick Mounfield CSyP FSyI and broadcaster and barrister Chris Daw QC. All of whom paid tribute to the fantastic work that has been conducted with tremendous diligence under extreme circumstances.
The Installer of the Year Award was presented by Clym Brown, Marketing Director, Texecom.
The prestigious accolade comes following the judges consideration of a portfolio of projects and client feedback from our work with United Utilities and Severn Trent Water in securing Critical National infrastructure sites and safeguarding drinking water production throughout AMP6.
Through this award, nmcn is recognised as the leading UK installer of physical and electronic security systems, supported by our end to end design and build security capabilities.
Managing Director of our Asset Security business unit, Adam Smith said: “I am thrilled that the hard work and dedication of our teams in Asset Security has been recognised by the BSIA in their crediting nmcn as security ‘Installer of the Year’. In a strong market of long established security contractors, our work over the last year has set us apart and enabled recognition in this way.
“I am particularly thankful to our clients, Severn Trent and United Utilities, whose professionalism and collaboration over the last year has enabled nmcn to push the boundaries of the security innovation and quality. This award is accepted in recognition that our work is a collaboration with our clients, to deliver a single outcome and joint goals, whose endorsement underpinned our nomination as ‘Installer of the Year’.
“I look forward to celebrating this outstanding achievement with both nmcn and client teams, in the future.”
Mike Reddington, Chief Executive, BSIA said: “Congratulations to nmcn for winning this year’s Installer of the Year at the British Security Awards Online 2020. Despite the most challenging issue in our lifetime, it is an honour to be able to recognise the industry for their commitment and achievements and we are delighted that nmcn have been successful in winning this category.”
